This chapter is all about one time Robert went into a tunnel with Richard Skelton.  Rich lives in the !middle of nowhere with his wife Autumn.  They explore and document the area around their cabin in the woodes.  It.might not be woods cause th wry talk about the moors.  Cabin in the moors doesn't have the same ring to it.

Crundle = thicket a stream.flows.through

Lunky = gap in a fence or dyke big enough for a sheep to get through but not big enough for a cow

Carpet way = grass road or path

Dobbles = hard mud or snow collected under the heel of a boot

Ch 7 northminded pg 209

Barry Lopez writes about cold northern places.  Places with unique geography like hood river.  Lots of talk about how differently water behaves in the frozen north.  How it's like glass and doesn't ripple quite as much as it does down south.  That's it, that's the book report.
