On returning to base narrator and the rest of the team is greated as heros. Cause they are. There's a party and a "medal" ceremony and everything. But the next day was back to normal. Going through his checklist of things to move. The day after that Tom delivers the bad news. There's been a last minute change in the tourist group coming in...
Ch 17
..it's his old boss.
And he's a real dick. Turns out he's here cause his dad is the CEO of some arms trafficking business or whatever and they are investing in this thing. There's a fun thing where they go to take a look at the pregnant kaiju and old boss tries to bribe the helicopter pilot to land near pregnant 🤰 kaiju and the punchline is helicopter pilot tells him to shut the fuck up for the rest of the trip or he would be kicked out of the helicopter.
Ch 18
This chapter is just scientists explaining stuff we already know to the tourists.
Ch 19
This chapter is the best. Narrator takes old boss into the jungle and basically threatens to leave him to the crabs 🦀 if he doesn't tell him EXACTLY what it was he wanted at pregnant kaiju. Old boss had a plan to get some egg material using a syringe he claimed was for diabetes. Narrator tells him to leave now and never come back.
