Ch 28

Karris is doing execution. But she doesn't execute what's his face that tried to kill kip.  She kills the guy that gave him the order to kill kip.  She does it with mirrors and sunlight.  Kinda like killing him with a laser.  

Ch 29

Kip isn't a young man anymore.   Marriage has prematurely aged him.  He kisses his wife before he goes into battle.  There's also a magic the gathering card moment where he remembers a time when one of his ancestors had to marry his lovers daughter.

Ch 30

Karris doesn't kill Quentin like she should.  She makes him her slave instead. She kills another guy with the death ray and he turns himself into a three headed dog in the midst of it.   Pretty cool.

Ch 31

LIV!!!!!!!

She has the seed and she can feel its power.  She's more powerful than any other ultra violet in the world as she is now.  But she's no god. She has to break the halo before she can absorb the seed fully and become a God.  It's a painful process.  But she comes out the other side unharmed.  She can feel her connection to the world now.  Very specifically she can feel a magical creature and she knows she can control it.  

Also, a man appears and says he's her slave.

Ch 32

Kip and his jackbooted thugs attack the glorious rebels.  They largely find success but then there's a cannon and other explosions and 250 slaves Kip is gonna try to save.  Not that there's any point.  Life sucks under the boot of the cromeria.  It sucks even worse with the rebels.

Ch 33

Gavin is escaping.  We think he might really do it, but then Andross is there waiting for him.

Ch 34

One of the female black guards tells tiea all of her feelings.  Main takeaway I have here is that the black guards know that zymon is a piece of shit.

Ch 35

Kip saves most of the slaves on the sinking ship.  They're gonna go spread word if how great Kip is. 

Ch 36

Karris and teia talk about marissa being abducted by the broken eye and lips escape and what not.  Karris tells her Teia needs to destroy the broken eye by any means necessary. She's already written out a pardon letter for any crimes she need to commit towards that end.

Ch 37

Kip and the boys drink and ne marry for tomorrow we may die.

Tisis gives kip oral pleasure.

Ch 38

Kips grandpa kicks the shit out of Gavin and then throws him down into the yellow prison with his dead brother's body.

Ch 39

Kip and tisis talk about how they haven't had sex.  Kip wants to stop trying.  Tisis says they have to have a baby before their marriage will matter.

Ch 40

Kips grandpa and Zymons mom talk about the cerberus and how he was an evil god and they're not just fighting the color prince, who's Zymon's uncle but that doesn't seem to matter, but also these evil gods.  They also talk about there being multiple worlds that orlham made and how the gods can't be at more than one place at a time so maybe this fight is a small part in a greater war against Orlham and there's a lot of scary unknown.

The blue god tracks her down and they talk.  Liv tells her where she can find the body of her mortal love.  Liv goes back to her home town and Kips house.  She uses his left behind scent to send him a message.

Ch 42

Kip kinda gets the message.  But he doesn't seem to understand who it's from or what it in.

Ch 43

Tiea talks to murder sharp.  He's gotta go kill the seer so he'll be gone for a while.  The old man, who we know is Grinwoody and iron fists uncle, will handle her now.  If she meets him face to face that's gonna be an interesting conversation. 

Ch 44 pg 319

Kip kills a red eight with help from card memories. 

Ch 45 pg 327

Gavin is having a conversation with his imaginary friend. What we learn is that dazen did kill gavin long ago and this whole prison thing is just his madness.  His dad comes down to tell him he loves him and that yes going to start sending down bread again.  One of them will be poisoned so have fun with that.

Ch 46 pg 337

Lots of stuff about will casting.  Where you use magic to control animals. Or even people and that's why its forbidden by the chromeria.  Kip makes a speech and it goes well and he's added the hidden forest people to his army.

Teia tortures a slave with pyryl to learn how to do pyryl stuff cause murder Sharpe commanded it and she figures if she doesn't do it, the broken eye will kill her

Kips wife didn't tell kip about the will casters and he's angry and tells at her and sleeps alone.  When he wakes up in the morning there's green soldiers and  he figures his sister in law sent them to kill them.

Gavin and his evil reflection talk.  One cutting comment it makes is that he could be with karris if he weren't such a coward.

Ch 50

Karris meets with her brother.  He wants a ciese fire till spring so fall and winter harvest can occur.  She's all, fuck you, I'm gonna find you and I'm gonna kill you.

Ch 51 pg 371

Tsisisis`s cousin tells her what's up.  His mom wants to side with karris's brother.  But they talk and cousin pledges himself to kip.

Ch 52 pg 379

The broken eye wants to send teia to kill people.  Karris has a plan to use this to her advantage. 

Ch 53

Gavin gets sick of the daily process of trying to figure out what food is poisoned and not eating it.  He eats both loaves of bread.   Perhaps he will die.

Ch 54

Tiea goes with a diplomat to paria to convince them to join the war effort.  Also she had the assassination mission from the broken eye.  The diplomat delivers the whites message and its pretty much join us or.die cause we will kill you.  Tiea doesn't do the murder she's supposed to.do.

Prequel

There's a guy,  he grew up on the titular lane.  There is a duck pond out back of the farm house at the end of the lane.  There was a girl there that referred to the duck pond as her ocean.

Guy has childhood memories he has forgotten. He suddenly remembers EVERYTHING now that hes back to the place of his childhood.  The ocean at the end of the lane.

Ch 1 pg 8

He remembers a 7th birthday no one came to and a kitten that died.

Ch 2 pg 13

The guy that had the accident with the kitten was renting a room at the guys house when he was a boy.  He later killed himself in their car.  This is how the guy that was then a boy got to hang out with Lettie, the girl in the farmhouse at the end of the lane with the duck pond she calls an ocean, and her mom and grandma.

I think Lettie and "family" have some sort of telepathical powers.

Ch 3 pg 25

Boy has a dream where he's choking.  He wakes up to find a coin in his throat.  He goes down to the end of the lane where Lettie explains that it's just someone trying to give people money and he doesn't need to worry about it and she will protect him.

Her maturity and confidence is alarming to boy.  He asks her how old she is and she says eleven. Then in a nightvalian sort of way he asks how long she has been eleven and it gave me so much joy.

 The ladies at the farm house at end of the lane seem to know what the problem is and what to do about it.

Lettie is going to go solve the problem.  She wants to bring boy along.  Her "mom" likes the idea.  Her "grandma " not so much.  But she doesn't stop her from taking him with.  She just says don't say i didn't warn you.

Ch 4

Boy and Lettie go into the words and into what I'm gonna assume is something like the fairy rhelm and they fight a spirit monster thing.  It goes well and the thing is bound so it can't hurt our w0rld anymore but boy let go of girls hand during the fight and in that moment he felt a stabbing pain in his foot and I expect that will have negative consequences in the future.

Also the way lettie talks it's very much like she's some sort of immortal being and not a person, in case anyone reading this thinks she's a normal little girl.

Ch 5

The stabbing pain immediately pays off as the boy pulls a worm out of it.  Or most of a worm anyway.  Probably still some in there and it'll probably continue to be a problem. 

Ch 6

Boy (does boy have a name?) Is told by his mom she has a job now and a woman named Ursula will be looking after them.  She is the worm that was in his foot. This is very bad and it's all his fault.  Ursula doesn't let him leave their property so he can't talk to lettie about her.

Ch 7

Boy goes on a bit of a hunger strike.  When his father demands he eats the food Ursula made he says he won't cause she's not a person, she's a monster.  Then he runs to the bathroom and locks the door and his father kicks the door down and tries to drown him

Ch 8

Boy has been locked in his room.  He decides to make a break for it.  He is kinda lost and cold and wet and tired and alone and Ursula finds him and she's flying. Also, pretty sure she had sex with his dad.

He is pretty hopeless.  But it turns out he has made it to the hampstocks land and lettie comes to save the day.

Ch 9 

Lettie and family pull some jedi mind trick and convince boy's parents that boy is here for a run of the mill sleepover. The only reason they came down the lane was to bring boy his toothbrush. 

Ch 10

Lettie and boy go back to his house to deal with the Ursula situation.  The basic idea is that Lettie offers to send Ursula home in a painless manner. It doesn't really work out and Ursula runs away.

Ch 11

They find Ursula pretty easy cause lettie has trapped her here.  Lettie informs Ursula that the cleaners have been called. Thus motivates Ursula to take lettie up on her offer to go back home through her door, which used to be in boys foot.  Problem,  the door doesn't work.   Some part of it is still in boy.  Ursula has a solution,  she's gonna rip his heart out and somehow that will allow her to go home.  It's around then that the cleaners show up.  They're vaguely bird like shady beings and they tear Ursula apart.

But they are not satisfied. They need to clean up the part of Ursula that's in boy.  

Lettie take boy to a fairy ring where he will be safe from the cleaners.

Ch 12

Boy stays in the fairy rings despite the shadow monster impersonating many different people trying to lure him out.

Ch 13

Lettie shows up with a bucket.  They do some magic and they are in the pond by her house.  Its trippy AF!!!!!

Back at the house he eats schpehards pie and spotted dick and all is well.  

Except that Lettie isn't so sure they can deal with the shadow bird things.  Her mom is though and that makes boy feel ok.

Ch 14

The shadow bird things start doing bad things like eating oak trees and stars and what not.  Seeing this, boy has the sudden desire to sacrifice himself so they will stop.  But tillie jumps on him to protect him and she dies. Grandma comes out, in a way that reminded me of dr who, and tells the shadow birds that they have violated sacred treaties by attacking Tillie and what not and if they know what's good for them they'll go back home.  It kinda feels like an empty threat but it works and they gtfo.  Grandma takes tillie to the ocean and explains she ain't really dead, but she needs some time in the ocean and she'll return when she's ready.

Ch 15

Boy goes home and just sorta forgets everything that just happened.  He bel8ves lettie went to Australia to be with her dad.

Teia Helps murder kidnap gavins sex slave.

Ch 3

Gavins sex slave is in the prison with him.  She's the whites grand daughter.  She was never a slave.  She was always a spy.

Ch 4 

Kips grandfather and karris meet.  It goes pretty well from Karris's perspective. 

Ch 5

Teia meets the head of the order who assigns her to spy on Karris.  Also, they're gonna murder someone for her. 

Ch 6. Pg 37

Zymon comes to talk to karris and the little psycho does real good playing on the mountain if insecurities that the q3 year old boy that writes this part gives her.

Ch 7 

Kip and his new wife have not consummated their marriage yet.  It's like all the trauma she's been through just concentrates itself in her vagina and won't let kip in.

Gavin and his former sex slave talk about stuff.

Ch 9

Teia is being made a black guard.  Her first assignment will be on Karris's protection detail.

Gavin and his former sex slave talked all night and fell asleep and he woke up with a bone that she wants ro put to use.  He's all, can't, my wife.  Kips grandpa shows up and takes her away.

Ch 11 pg 69 (nice)

Kip and his wife still haven't successfully sexed.  But she's gonna keep trying. Part of that is that she's going to go with him to war.

Ch 12

Teia goes to the jail to find a bad guy to mark for death.  She finds quintin.  He had previously killed a black guard recruit trying to kill kip. So he's gonna die now.

Ch 13

There's a yellow luxin storm.  Kip saves the day.  He goes through a spiritual experience in the midst of the saving.

Ch 14

Teia undoes her quinton mark.  Who's she gonna mark for death now?

Ch 15

Gavin is losing his mind.  Makes sense.  The other Gavin lost his mind down here .

Ch 16

After saving the day, kip is blind for.three days.  

Ch 17

The blackguards do their swearing In ceremony.  Part of the deal is you name a previous black guard to honor.  Teia picks iron fist.  Funny cause they're in the broken eye together but they don't know that yet.  When that is revealed, I hope it's a joyous occasion. 

Ch 18

Kip and the guys and his wife are.go8ng to war.

Gavin made a shadow version of himself to torment his brother in this prison and now that hes alone, its tormenting him.  But that's just the tip of the Orlam Damned ice berg.  Dazen isn't a polychrome.  He can only draft one color.  Black.  Four books in, it is revealed that Dazen is the black prism.  He steals other people's colors.  The best part is that he doesn't remember that.   Using Black luxin had made him forget.

Ch 20.pg 139

Lots of griping going on with kip and his group. His wife is supposedly from here but as a guide she hasn't been all tjay useful so far.  She tells a horror story about previous colonizer activities that kinda wins the group over.

Ch 21

Teia is on guard duty with Karris as she's going to do some executions.

Ch 22

Dazen is in the prison he built for gavin.  He isn't eating to try to get his dad's attention.   It works.  He yells are his dad for being a trash dad.

Ch 23 

Kip and his group.  They meet the forest people.

Ch 24 

Dazen beats his head against the wall until a tooth comes loose. He's gonna try to use that tooth to open the door his dad came in.

Ch 25

Kip and his wife are not getting along.

Ch 26

Gunner is tempted to trade the blinding knife for a really kick ass ship.

Ch 27

The forest people were sent to kip by the seer (liv's new step mother) and they were told that kip would help them fight at a town that's hella far away.  This isn't a big deal as they're all drafters so they make luxin skimmmers.

Douglas started this endeavor as a radio thing on The bbc.   It started before that when he was hitchhiking through Europe and was about to pass out due to overly aggressive consumption of alchohol and looking at the stars thought if there was a hitchhiker guided to the galaxy he would get the fuck out of here.

Ch 0 pg 1

They talk about the hitchhiker guide to the galaxy. Its largely inaccurate,  but it's more popular than the galactic encyclopedia because its slightly cheeper and has the words don't panic on the front.

Ch 1 pg 5

Arthur dent is a human man whose house is going to be demolished to make way for a bypass.  Ford Prefect (I have not read this book since Harry Potter became a thing.) Is an extra terrestrial and he doesn't care about Arthur's house.  He convinces him to come to the pub.

Ch 2 pg 25

Ford orders six pints and tells Arthur to drink up.  The world is ending and he needs to drink those beers as a muscle relaxant.

Ch 3 pg 31

Earth is destroyed by a vogon ship to make wah for a galactic highway.

Ch 4 pg 46

Zaphod beeboebrox is the president of the galaxy. But he only took the job as part of a heist. 

Ch 5 pg 58

Arthur and Ford have been beamed to a ship.  It's a vogon ship.  Vogons are jerks and they blow up inhabited planets to make way for interstellar highways.  Funny story, having just destroyed am inhabited planet the captain of the ship just got a message telling him there's new kinds of spacecraft that don't need interstellar highways. This is upsetting. 

Arthur and Ford were let on the ship by the cook's who are an alien species called the dentrassis.  The angry vogon captain sends out a ship wide message.  Its basically to the hitchhiker and it's that he's gonna catch you and kill you.

Ch 6 pg 74

Ford and Arthur hunker down in the dentrassis`s room and hope not to be caught while they go through hyperspace. 

Ch 7

Ford and Arthur are tortured with poetry and then thrown out an airlock.

Ch 8 pg 82

They are picked up 

Ch 9

A lot of highly improbable stuff is happening around them as the probability drive gets us back to normal.

Ch 10

They describe the improbability drive.

Ch 11

Zaphod and trillium are annoyed by the depressed robot. 

Arthur and Ford don't think much of him either.

Ch 12 

Zaphod and Trillian are trying to map their minds around how the ship picked up Arthur and Ford.  The point at which they did so means something to Trillian.  It should mean something to Zaphod but he's either playing dumb or really doens't remember whatever it is that Trillian is talking about.

Ford and Arthur are walking towards them.  Trillian wants to get a look at them before they get there.

Ch 13 pg 136

Remember how Trillian told zeephod about the point where they picked up the hitchhikers being important?  It's because that point is where earth used to be.  Why is this important to Trillian?  Because she's from.earth.  she was at the party Arthur was talking about. The guy that she left with was Zaphod.  He only had one head and two arms and called himself Phil,  but it was him and Arthur is pissed off about it. Zaphod is Ford's brother.

Ch 14 pg 144

Arthur is sleeping.  No one else can.  Trillian has mice she brought from earth...

They are in the midst of the horsehead nebula.  Complete darkness. But there's a planet where it's very improbable that there would be one.

 Ch 15

A long long time ago there were people that made designer planets for the ultra rich.

Ch 16

They all hate the cheerful computer. 

This planet is the hime base of the people that made planets.

Ch 17

This planet does not want guests.  There are several recordings telling them to fuck off.  They do not.  Missiles are launched.  Evasive maneuvers happen.  The hitch hikers guide to the galaxy gets lose and starts talking about stuff. 

Arthur figures if they're about to die, try the improbability drive.

Ch 18 pg 172

The improbability drive turns the missles into a whale

And a potted plant.  The potted plants story is great. It thinks.  And what it thinks is not again.

They land and go outside.

The whale smashing into the ground penetrator the surface and zaphod is gonna go in.  He and Ford go in and Arthur and the robot do not.  Zaphod explains to Arthur that he's a bit of an idiot savant. He has these ideas to do amazing things and kinda without knowing how he just does whatever he has to to accomplish those goals.  It's very disturbing but he just keeps doing it.  The worst part Is that he did some brain scans and found the initials ZB carved into parts of his brain.  I suppose the idea is he did this to himself.

Ch 21 pg 194

The robot is terrible company  so Arthur goes for a walk and runs into an old man.

Ch 22 pg 199

This is that old man.

He's been asleep for five million years or so.  They did that on purpose because of the resession .  But the stock market is up so the system woke them up cause it thinks the economy is good enough for people to start buying designer planets again.

Ch 23 pg 207

The dolphins knew the vogons were coming and left earth before it got blewed up.

Ch 24 pg 209

Earth was an organic computer run by mice.  It was about to finish the program it was running when it got blowed up.  Mice aren't mice.  They're the physical manifestation of a Trans dimensional entity.  

This place isn't back in the planet making business.  It's just making another earth for the mice because it was destroyed and I guess when they're done with that they'll go back to sleep.

Ch 25 pg 220

There were some scientists trying to figure out the life, the universe and everything riddle.  They made a super duper computer they named deep thought.

These two guys asked it to give them the answer to life, the universe and everything. The computer's response was that it will take 7.5 million years to give them the answer. 

Ch 26 pg 231

Slartibartfast offers to let Arthur walk around on earth 2.  Arthur says no thanks, it wouldn't be the same.

Ch 27 pg 233

They get the answer.  You know what it is.

Derp thought tells them he will design them another even bigger computer that can give them the question that the answer is the answer to.

Zaphod was sent on this whacky trip by the previous president of the galaxy.  Its hella complicated.

The crew talks to the mice.  They say they might not need earth 2.  They have Arthur.  More specifically his brain.  They want to take it out and try to get the question of the life the universe and everything. They'll even replace it with a robot brain.  He won't notice the difference because he will be programmed not to.

Ch 32 pg 271

The cops show up to arrest zaphod.  For reasons I don't understand,  the mice just sorta give up and make up the question "how many roads must a man walk down."

The cops make it to the group...

They start shooting at them.  

Ch 33

The cops space suits malfunction and they die.

Ch 34

They get back to their ship.  Next to their ship is the police ship.

Also there lying on the ground face first is Marvin.  He's extra depressed because he tried to talk to the ship and it commited suicide rather than talk to him.  That's what killed the cops.  Marvin killed the cops with his depression. 

Ch 35

They're gonna grab a bite to eat at the restaurant at the end of the universe.

Broek eye ch 67 to 97 ( the end)

 Ch 67

Teia is starting to catch feelings for Kip.  There could be all sorts of cool stuff about what she's doing I'm this chapter. But the only thing the thirteen year old boy that writes the female viewpoints cares about is her relationship with Kip.

Ch 68 

Liv's dad meets her in the town opposite the jaspers on the sea.  He tells her the broken eye is trying to kill his wife.  He secretly gives her a knife.

Ch 69

Teia and Mr murder argue and fight and stuff.

Ch 70

Kip goes to take a bath and one of the great lady's of the land cones to appeal to him.  The color prince is about to overrun her state if the chromeria army doesn't stop him.  She asks kip to Mary her.

Ch 71

Mr murder tells teia to steal a shimmer cloak.

Ch 72

Teia steals 1 robe a little burned. This is bad she was supposed to get two. Worse than that, as shes trying to go wherever kip is there and he's all, we gotta talk so they go to his quarters and Mr murder is following them.

Ch 73

Kip tries to talk to tiea about his feelings. It doesn't go well. He tells her about Tsisis's marriage proposal. This whole conversation isn't happening in a useful manner.

Kip punches a bag hard.  He finds that Gavin has hidden magic the gathering cards in the punching bag.  Then the cards kinda affix themselves to kip and he starts having visions and the librarian that sent him to card lady is there and he thinks he's gonna die.

Ch 74

Teia is here.  Maybe talking to people and doing stuff.  The important thing is that she finds  kip and pulls the cards off of him.  But it doesn't matter, he's already dead.

Ch 75

Kip's opinion of death is the same as my what my mother in law says when she's disappointed in a movie.  "That isn't what I expected. "

Abandoned is there and it's a giant library and the cards are there and touching them is important but I don't understand it and kip is dead.

Ch 76

Kip is dead.  Not for long though. Tiea does some sort of magic cpr and he comes back.

Ch 77

Zymon is in town.

Karris is a tragic story

Ch 78

Gavins captors are gonna burn out his eyeballs and return him to his dad and then before Gavin can talk an assasin will kill him.

Ch 79

Tiea tells kip he has to flee.  She's already got. A guy with a boat to get him out.  This conversation is cut short when grandpa shows up.

Since zymon is back and he didn't get the cards for his grandfather he won't be prism. Grandpa guves kip two options 1 Stay and Zymon will kill him or marry whatsherface and be grandpa's soy.

Ch 80

Kip has absorbed the cards that are blank now.  So he has these involuntary card visions.  In this one he's Young Dazen Guile and he's talking to his mom and Janus boring and she's gonna tell him about black lux9n and it's gon a give him nightmares.

Ch 81

Teia decides to use her shimmer cloak and follow Kip's grandpa to see what he's up to.

Ch 82

What he's up to is making zymon the prism.  Teia thinks Mr murder is going to kill the white as part of that endeavor. 

Ch 83 pg 611

Gavin has a few moments of hope before his eye is stabbed out by a red hot poker.

Ch 84

Gavin's sex slave tells karris that her spies know where Gavin is.  Karris and some black guards go to save them. 

Ch 85 pg 632

LIV!!!!!

She climbs a mountain to get to the super violet seed crystal.  The guy the color prince sent with her tries to put the black lux in necklace on her and gets a knife in the heart for his trouble.  Now it's just her and the seed crystal.   

Ch 86 pg 635

Karris and the black guards save Gavin.

Ch 87 pg 653

Kip agrees to marry Tsis and flee to her country

Ch 88 

Teia shows up and tells kip the white is going to be assassinated.  

Ch 89

They try to save the white but murder has Done something with pyril that teia can't undo.  The white will likely die tomorrow. 

Ch 90 pg 679

Kip is summoned by his grandpa and is banished for the murder that teia did hella long ago.  Iron fist tries to save the day and grandpa uses the moment to fire him from the Black guard.  Karris shows up.  Appearantly things are going to plan.

Ch 91

Zymon is here.  He is prism elect now and there is A lot of talking and ceremony to make him the official prism.  He gets bored and says he has to pee.  He's told to be a man and hold it.  The only entertainment is karris coming in and taking a seat in the front row.

Zymon fucks off and tells a light guard to kill Kip.  That light guard just so happens to be Aram , the trainee for the black guard that was part of the scheme to keep kip out of the black guard.  So he's happy to do it.

Ch 92

Kip and his crew gotta go.  Iron fist does all the paperwork so they have honorable discharges.  Funniest part, Andross knew this would happen and had special patches made for the squad.

Things go horribly wrong when a light guard asks who's kip, someone that's not kip says me and the light guard shoots him.

93

Kip and crew run for their lives.  It's not working.  They're trapped.  Kip has an idea.  The white must have a secret escape route.  So they're going back up to her apartments. 

94 pg 712

They make it up to the whites apartments. 

The escape route isn't a secret tunnel.  It's cables the spring up and then you slide down them to where you want to go.

Ch 95 pg 728

Ironfist goes to the safehouse Gavin is supposed to be .  No one is there.  But then someone is there.  Grinwoody, Kip's grandpa's slave and right hand man.  Ironfist calls him uncle.  He's the head of the broken eye.  Ironfist is in the broken eye.  And they have the black seed crystal.

Ironfist finds tremblefist on the edge of death.  He asks him, who you gonna choose, Kip or the order?

Ch 1

Girl is main character.  Her dad makes pots.

Boy is girl's friend.  They still hang out even though he goes to high-school in a different town and has to take a train.  She waits for him at the train station for him to come back and they wall home together.

Boys dad has been acting weird.  He's really into spirals like you don't even know...

Boy's dad asks girl's dad to make him a spiral pot.  Girl delivers the pot to boy's dad and boy's dad says he doesn't need it.  He doesn't need any spirals cause he can make his own spirals now.  At which point he makes his tongue into a crazy spiral.  Girl does the only rational thing and runs away in terror.

Boy's dad commits suicide by bending himself into a spiral.

Ch 2 

Then things get weird.  When boy's dad's body is cremated the smoke in the sky becomes a spiral.  Then at a certain point boy's mom swears it looks like her dead husband's face.

Spirals are making her crazy.  It all goes to a horrible end when she stabs herself in the ear to get rid of her inner ear spirals and dies.

Ch 3

Girl has a friend with bangs.  Bangs is always getting hit on by boys.  She gives them all the cold shoulder.  That is until she meets girl's friend that's a boy.  She's claiming he's her boyfriend now that his parents are dead.  Bangs falls hopelessly in love with boy.  Boy funds out Bangs's horrible secret.  She has a spiral on her forehead that metiphorically sucks the boys in.  Having had his parents both die from wierd spiral stuff he's not into Bangs.  Bangs tells another boy to lure boy to the park.  Boy comes.  Bangs's spiral has gotten larger.  Like it's her whole face.  The other boy gets angry because bangs promised to go out with him if he lured boy to the park and now she says she won't. He hits Bangs and bangs literally sucks him into her head with the spiral.  It goes out if control at that point and she sucks herself into a spiral. 

Ch 4

Girl's father goes a little crazy in this one.  Remember when boy's father was cremated and the smoke created a spiral in the sky?  Well the thing I didn't care about was that the ashes then flew through the town and deposited themselves in dragonfly pond.  Girl's father took clay from the pond and used it to make pottery.  It looks fine when you mold it.  But when you fire it the pots and plates and what not turn all spirally and grotesque. Shenhannegans ensue and his kiln shed burns down.

Ch 5

Girl is friends with another guy.  This guy is in love with a girl.  Real forbidden romance Romeo Juliette situation. They do this fun thing where they stretch out their bodies and they twist together like snakes making whoopy. They swim out to sea together this way never to be seen again.

Typos are fun.

Ch 6

Girl's hair starts spiraling at the ends.  She's getting Hella attention for it. It's like that's what the hair wants.  Another girl LOVES the spotlight and her hair does the same thing.  It's a spiral hair dual.  Boy is like, fuck this.  The spirals killed my parents and I gotta take these spirals out.  But the hair ain't having it.  It kinda tries to eat boy.  But the boy ends up winning the day by cutting the hair.

Ch 7 

There's this other boy that likes girl.  He's annoying. She tells him he's not interested and he still keeps annoying her.  But that problem sorts itself out...

 But before he died he sent her a jack in the box as a present and it tells her it's all her fault and he's gonna come for her.

She tells boy about this and boy solves the problem by digging up the annoying body and chopping it to pieces.

Ch 8

Boys turn into snails in this chapter.  It's Hella gross.

Ch 9

The long dormant Lighthouse starts sending out wierd spiral light at night.  It makes people spin around uncontrollably. Kills some boats men.  Some dudes go to check it out and they never come back.  Girl's little brother checks it out.  The stairs to get to the top are impossibly long.  But they eventually make it and find the missing dudes.   Their bodies have been burned real bad.  Girl realizes it's almost sunset and the Lighthouse is about to turn on.  They start running down the stairs to get out.  One of her brother's friends doesn't make it.  I was legit scared we were gonna lose girl.

Ch 10

Pregnant women are drilling holes in people at the hospital and drinking their blood.

Ch 11

Girl is still in the hospital. 

This one is wild.  The pregnant women that were vampiring have their babies.  The babies can talk.  Also they grow back their umbilical cords and placentas and they look like mushrooms and the doctor harvests them and feeds them to people saying they're mushrooms.  The babies can talk.  They convince the doctor to put them back in the womb.  The mom then needs to drink blood to feed the baby.  The doctor holds girl for a mom with reemplanted baby unspirals her tongue and it's like a mosquito and she jabs ot into the neck...

...of the doctor.  The doctor dies, girl runs away.

Ch 12

There's a hurricane and its horny for girl.  There's a very exciting set of scenes where boy and girl run away from the storm.  The storm ends up getting them.  But it harmlessly deposits them in the pod in the middle of town.

Ch 13

Girls house was destroyed by the hurricane  .  They are moved into a shitty apart,emt.  The neighbors die from having weird spiral spikes.  Girl's family gets the same spikey spiral things and there's another hurricane so they can't go to the hospital. The creepy neighbor guy becomes a spike monster.  Somehow he dies.  The weird spikey spiral worts go away when the hurricane ends.

Ch 14

The town has been destroyed. Four more Hurricanes have come and the pod swallowed them all.  Now the slightest movement can cause a tornado. A reporter comes thinking she can help somehow.  She doesn't.

Ch 15

Only the crappy row houses like the one girl's family were moved to are still standing.  They re PACKED with people.  Gangs of people thay can ride tornados have formed up.  They're the only ones earing because they steal the rescue food that's flown in.  Girl and her family are kicked out of their own house.  Thers a runin with a tornado gang.  Girls dad is blown away.  I hope he's OK.  Boy shows up to save girl from a tornado.

ch 16

Things continue to be bad.  No one can get out of the town. The snail people are  a big problem and girls brother turns into one.  Also, people are eating the snail people.  They are delicious. 

Ch 17

Trying to escape girl notices someone extending one of the row houses that are the only buildings left standing.  Girl notices that the row houses all face the pond.

Prediction: they extend all the row houses and it makes a giant spiral around the pond.

Boy is wearing a sheet around his neck like a cape and he looks like a dork.

People want to eat.girls brother.  Instead she has him go down a steep.cliff, which he can do cause he's a sticky snail

Ch 18

Making their way to the center of town is rough.   Especially with how dorky boy looks.  They lose everyone they were with on the way.  The people finish building the row house spiral and boy and girl make their way to the pond, which isn't a pond anymore.  It's a giant stone spiral staircase.

Ch 19

There's a giant underground spiral kingdom abd everyone is all spiralled up together just like the lovers in chapter 5.
