Donut picks her race and class. Shes a cat child actor. As a child actor mordecai becomes her manager. This is goodand bad. Bad is he cant do anything else so thats a lot of resources lost. The good is he's no longer constrained as to what he can tell them.

Carl picks primal as his race. Pro: skills that usually top out at 15 go up to 20 for primals. Con: no up front bonuses of any kind. Mordekai explains this as starting 5 levels below everyone else.
He chooses the compensated anarchist as his class. It's good for both explosives and unarmed combat and it makes him very appealing to fans. The big downside is the minimum charisma is 25. That's gonna take up most of his a available points.
